Be the first to taste the annual “Best of the Bench” Spring wine releases and meet the winemakers from the Naramata Bench Winery Association.  Savour the wine selections with delightful food pairings from some of Vancouver and Naramata’s finest restaurants.

As well as tastes and treats at Spring Release you will also be able to place your bids on our auction of exclusive wines the "Best of the Bench" 2010 collection plus Naramata trips and treats. 

This year our auction will also include the Second Annual Naramata Red Blend an exclusive blending of red wines from four Naramata Bench Wineries.  After tasting and test blending this year’s Red Blend is a collaboration between Howling Bluff Therapy Vineyards Black Widow and D’Angelo.  This Blend is not available in stores and is only available through our auction.  Each bottle is signed by the contributing winemakers.

We are pleased to announce that partial proceeds from the auction will be donated to the Vancouver Art Gallery.

This is our second annual Spring Release Event to be held at The Inn at Laurel Point in Victoria‚ and this special evening is your opportunity to taste the new “Best of the Bench” Spring wine releases plus meet the winemakers from the Naramata Bench Winery Association. 

We are also pleased to announce that this year in partnership with The Inn at Laurel Point the evening’s event will feature an expanded offering of taste sensations paired with the Naramata Bench wines being poured.  The evening’s culinary treats will be created by Chef Brad Horen Executive Chef of the Inn at Laurel Point and recently appointed Captain of Culinary Team Canada.

In addition‚ The Inn at Laurel Point will be offering special Accommodation packages that include Gourmet Breakfast and parking to enhance your Spring Release experience.  Information about those is available here or by calling 1-800-663-7667.

Roll Out the Barrels! at Spring Wine Fest

Naramata Winemakers break out the wine thief and share the best of what is to come with special cellar tours and tastings.

It is all a part of Okanagan Spring Wine Festival (April 30 - May 9).

All the Bench wineries will be open for tasting and tours and each winery will put on "something special" on one of the weekend days.
